One contract for the whole job — we design it, buy the equipment, and build it on
site. You hold one company responsible instead of six.

In plain terms
EPC means nobody gets to blame anybody else.
On a normal project you might appoint a consultant to design it, a supplier to
provide the equipment, and a contractor to install it. When something does not
fit, each one points at the other two, and you pay for the argument.
EPC puts all three under one contract. We do the engineering,
we buy the material, and we build it. If the design and the equipment do not
agree, that is our problem to solve, not yours.
In practice that means a fixed scope, a fixed programme, and one person to
call. It is how we have delivered work for the Mumbai airport, the Mumbai Metro,
MCGM and Siemens.
